Sala Zentral. Pamplona / Iruna .
22 December 2022
Ticket: 27 Euros.
Love you always.

The Zentral is located inside the building that houses the Santo Domingo Market in Pamplona/Iruña. It has a capacity for a thousand people, which is why I have doubted whether or not to include the concert in this list of small concerts. But I am a person interested in qualitative research, and for me, numbers, although powerful, are almost always relative. Being able to drink a glass of white wine a few meters from the stage is a very living room feeling, so despite the size of the room, I decided to include this gig as a small concert. Also, this newsletter is about celebrating life, and the concert was a real post-pandemic celebration. The musicians got excited, and people were already excited. Going with old friends also made for an exciting night; even though the band was brilliant, I would have just as well seen anything else. Because in sex, rock, and drugs, one looks for some type of connection and without connection none of the former is memorable. Morgan certainly connected with the public. And saving the distances I think about those live shows from the gods of Soul, by Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, and those who treated the public almost as if they were another member of the band. And I also think about the MCs who practice fast speech. There were also many intimate Norah Jones moments. But hey, as I said before, the best part of the concert was the company. Thanks to my friends Gabino, Juanjo, Monika, and Valen for such a summery night in the middle of the winter solstice. Love you always.
To drink a glass of white wine in a wineglass a few metres from the stage ... the joys of qualitative research! 🍷
